Enquiries & bookings
From your preferred date to planning together.
How do I enquire about Pink Panta for my celebration?
To prepare a suitable quote, we mainly need your date, venue and occasion. An approximate guest count, preferred times and musical ideas are also helpful. Use ‘Request a quote’ to bring these details together; we will discuss any open questions with you personally.
What is the difference between checking availability and requesting a quote?
The quick availability check focuses on your date and contact details. The detailed enquiry includes space for the occasion, line-up, music, equipment and further wishes. If you already have specific plans, the detailed version helps us prepare a suitable quote.
Does an enquiry count as a binding booking?
An enquiry starts the planning conversation. The binding services and conditions are recorded in the contract. Submitting an enquiry or receiving an automatic acknowledgement does not confirm that your chosen date is booked.
How far in advance should I enquire?
It is worth enquiring once your date and location are sufficiently clear. Popular dates can book up early, but no fixed lead time guarantees availability. You can also enquire at short notice – what matters is the availability of the specific line-up on that day.
Can I enquire before choosing a venue?
Yes. Tell us the planned town or region and mark the venue as undecided. For reliable technical and organisational planning, we will later need details of the event space, access and your on-site contacts.
Who helps with the planning?
Our office has two trained full-time staff members. Personal coordination, music preferences, venue questions and the organisational schedule are part of the preparation. Our bandleader is your contact for musical planning; the team brings experience from planning more than 2,000 events.
What happens after we sign the contract?
Online questionnaires help collect musical preferences, songs to avoid and venue details in a structured way. We also coordinate the schedule and keep track of contracts and invoices digitally. A final review is planned two days before the event.
What happens if plans change or we cancel?
Your contract and its terms and conditions are decisive. Please report changes to the date, venue, schedule or services as early as possible so we can discuss their implications. General deadlines or cancellation charges cannot be stated reliably without reference to your specific agreement.
Musicians & line-ups
Which band size suits your celebration – and what the differences mean.
What is the minimum party band line-up?
Our party band starts with four musicians. We also offer separate acoustic duo and trio formats for quieter parts of your programme. An acoustic duo is not simply a smaller version of the same four-piece party show, but a different musical format.
Who is in the four-piece band?
The four-piece band consists of a female singer, guitar, drums and keyboards. The keyboardist simultaneously plays the bass live with their left hand. This line-up is the basis of our party band.
What does the five-piece band add?
A male singer joins the four-piece line-up. Two different lead voices open up more possibilities for songs and stage interaction. Our live videos let you hear and see the difference from the four-piece band directly.
Which larger line-ups are available?
We tailor larger line-ups to your event and preferred programme. Adding musicians is not only a matter of guest numbers: space, musical preferences, the schedule and your budget also matter. Let us first establish the experience you want for your celebration.
Can I request particular singers?
You can tell us which singers you particularly like. We will discuss whether your preferred line-up is suitable and available for your date. The musician profiles introduce our team; they do not automatically guarantee that every person pictured will appear at every event.
Will the musicians in a video automatically be my line-up?
No. The videos give you an impression of the music and different formats. Your specific line-up is agreed for your date. Please tell us which video you like and what particularly appeals to you.
How do I find the right band size?
Start with the musical experience you want: subtle accompaniment, a compact party band or a larger show. Together, we then consider the available space, schedule and technical requirements. A fixed rule such as ‘one musician for every 50 guests’ cannot do justice to an event.
Where can I find the musicians’ full credits?
Our musicians page contains their full previous credits. The short credits on the homepage are deliberately just a selection. The live videos and the line-up agreed for your event are also important when making your choice.
Songs & music requests
Favourite songs, music to avoid and a programme that suits the moment.
What music does Pink Panta play?
We focus on pop, rock and chart hits. The specific selection depends on the line-up, occasion and how the evening develops. Our full repertoire shows the songs on our current list; it is not a fixed setlist for every performance.
Where can I see the song list?
Our repertoire page contains the complete current list of songs and original artists. The nine highlights on our booking pages are just a small selection. Use the list to tell us about your preferences.
Can I choose favourite songs?
Yes, your preferences help shape our planning. After the contract is signed, we collect them through our music questionnaire, among other things. We discuss which requests suit your booked line-up and schedule; this does not guarantee that we can perform every requested song live.
Can you perform a song outside your repertoire?
Mention special requests early. We will assess whether and how the song can be performed. A new song, special arrangement or firm commitment to a live performance is not automatically part of every booking.
Can I exclude songs or musical styles?
Yes. Songs to avoid are just as much a part of planning as favourite tracks. Clear priorities and a few particularly important exclusions are most helpful. This allows the band to respond to your guests and the evening within the agreed boundaries.
Do we need to agree the entire setlist in advance?
A fixed running order is usually unnecessary. Requests, important moments and musical boundaries can be agreed in advance, leaving room to respond to the dance floor. Specific cues and special performances should be agreed in detail.
Do you automatically include Schlager, Ballermann or Cologne carnival music?
These styles are not automatically part of our standard pop, rock and chart programme. If they matter to your celebration, tell us when you enquire. A suitable part of the evening may be arranged with an additionally booked DJ.
Where can I hear you before booking?
Our homepage and band pages feature live videos of various line-ups, including our acoustic duo and trio. When comparing them, notice the number of musicians and the different singers. The separately labelled Bridal Awards clip uses added music and does not feature the original live audio.
Performance times & schedule
Live sets, transitions and enough time to enjoy your evening.
How long does the band play?
The standard arrangement is three live sets of 45 minutes each. An optional fourth 45-minute set is available. We coordinate the start, breaks and distribution of sets with your event schedule; additional performance time must be agreed separately.
Does the band play continuously without breaks?
The live sets are planned as separate sections, with breaks that suit the schedule and the musicians’ workload. Music during these breaks should also be planned and coordinated with the band or any DJ you book.
How are the sets spread across the evening?
The sets are arranged around dinner, speeches, other activities and your preferred party times. Tell us the fixed points in your schedule and allow some flexibility where possible. Three sets do not have to run consecutively, but should fit sensibly within the agreed working period.
Can a DJ play before, between and after the band sets?
A DJ booked alongside the band can cover transitions and periods outside the live sets. We specify the included sections in the quote. Band and DJ coordinate their performances so that different parts of the programme do not compete for the same moment.
What does the seven-hour DJ package mean?
The optional DJ package starts with seven hours; the band sets usually take place within that period. This does not automatically mean seven additional DJ hours after the final band set. Start times, finish times and any extensions must match the quote.
What happens if dinner or speeches overrun?
A well-planned schedule includes a little flexibility. Tell the band and your on-site contact about delays as early as possible. Whether performances can move or be extended depends on the agreed period and the venue’s conditions – unlimited extensions are not automatically included.
Can you provide music for the reception or dinner?
Our acoustic duo and trio, or an individually arranged addition, suit quieter parts of your event. A party band does not automatically perform throughout the day. We plan which line-up covers each section and how the transitions work.
What is the Chameleon concept?
It is an optional concept for different musical formats within one event. The line-up can change as the evening progresses. The scope, suitable starting line-up and individual programme sections are agreed separately; it is not automatically included in every booking.
Equipment & venue
The questions we discuss with your venue before the performance.
Do you provide audio and lighting equipment?
Suitable equipment can be booked together with the band. We offer equipment packages from S to XL. The examples L and XL shown here combine an audio system, stage lighting, stage equipment, a professional audio engineer, setup and dismantling. The scope agreed in your quote is decisive, rather than the package name alone.
Which equipment package from S to XL suits our celebration?
We consider the room size, guest count, stage situation and desired effect. A larger package is not automatically better in every room. Our equipment page shows all packages from S to XL; our specific recommendation follows from your event details.
Can you use the venue’s existing equipment?
We check existing systems for suitability and the necessary connections in advance. Please put us in touch with the responsible technician and send any available equipment information. Having speakers in a room does not necessarily mean the whole band can use them effectively.
How much space and power does the band need?
That depends on the line-up and equipment. We agree the required space, safe power supply and layout with the venue instead of giving a single general figure. A floor plan, photos of the proposed performance area and information about power connections are helpful.
How much time do you need for setup and an audio check?
The line-up, equipment package, access routes and accessibility determine the time needed. We plan setup and the audio check with your venue in advance. Access must be available early enough; ideally, the audio check should not interfere with welcoming your guests.
What should we consider for loading and parking?
Check vehicle access, unloading, parking and the route to the performance area. Stairs, long distances, narrow doors or a goods lift may involve extra work. Share these details early in the planning process, not in a message on the event day.
Can you perform outdoors?
For an outdoor event, the weather, covered performance area, power supply and a safe backup arrangement must be agreed in advance. A tent or roof is not automatically suitable for every stage setup. We assess the specific plan with your venue.
What matters when there are volume limits or curfews?
Ask the venue for its requirements early and pass them on to us. They affect the layout, audio system and music finishing time. A band cannot override these requirements simply by changing its equipment setup.
Weddings, corporate events & parties
A musical plan that suits your occasion.
Does Pink Panta only perform at weddings?
No. We also perform at corporate events, birthdays, galas and other private or business occasions. The programme and organisation depend on your event. A corporate evening with speeches needs a different schedule from a birthday party.
How do I plan music for a wedding?
Divide your day into its musical stages: ceremony, reception, dinner, first dance and party. Not every stage needs the same line-up or live music. Our wedding music guide offers a practical sequence for planning; every requested service is agreed separately.
Can you perform our first dance live?
Tell us your preferred song, version and planned sequence early. We will check whether your line-up can perform it live. Playing the original recording through an agreed setup can also be a suitable solution; a live version is not automatically guaranteed.
Band or DJ: which is better for your wedding?
A band brings a shared live performance to the stage, while a DJ works with recordings and can explore different musical directions. Your priorities, space, available time and budget are decisive. Combining both is possible, but is not necessarily the right choice for every celebration.
How do we coordinate speeches and music at a corporate event?
Bring speeches, presentations and show moments together in one schedule. Appoint a person to coordinate changes on site. We agree microphone requirements and transitions in advance so dinner, hosting and music do not overlap unintentionally.
Does the band suit guests of different generations?
A pop, rock and chart programme can offer musical connections for different generations. Help us by describing your guests and preferences. We cannot promise a particular reaction from every person, but we can select music with your shared celebration in mind.
Can I choose a particular theme or decade?
We discuss special concepts individually. A confirmed themed performance does not mean that the same programme is automatically included in every booking. Please tell us whether you would like individual songs that suit a theme or a themed programme throughout.
Where can I read about real performances?
Our event stories describe confirmed performances, for example at Wolkenburg, KölnSKY and the Chocolate Museum in Cologne. They illustrate different schedules and conditions. Each experience is an example, not a blanket promise for every room or event at a venue.
Prices, services & locations
What a transparent quote should include.
How much does a booking cost?
The price depends on factors including the line-up, performance time, equipment, destination and organisational requirements. We therefore provide an individual quote instead of a flat price with no description of services. Our band prices page explains the main items to compare.
Are a DJ and equipment always included in the band price?
Not automatically. The quote should clearly state whether it includes the band, DJ, audio equipment, stage lighting and other services. Compare the line-up, performance times, technical support and agreed scope as well as the total price.
Is room lighting the same as stage lighting?
No. Stage lighting highlights the musicians and performance area. Additional room lighting shapes the atmosphere of the venue and is a separate option. Tell us whether you want lighting for the stage alone or for the room as well.
Are stage risers included?
Stage risers are an optional extra and are not automatically included in every booking. Whether they are useful or necessary depends on sightlines, the room and the event plan. We coordinate existing risers and setup responsibilities with the venue.
Are travel or accommodation costs added?
Your venue and schedule can affect travel arrangements and any overnight accommodation. These items belong in the specific quote. Please give us the exact address and planned working times as soon as they are confirmed.
Do you only perform in Cologne and NRW?
Pink Panta is available in Cologne, NRW and worldwide. We will discuss whether and how a performance is possible on your date. Our city cover band pages offer additional insights into confirmed regional experience without limiting the areas we cover.
How can I compare two quotes effectively?
Compare the same items side by side: number of musicians and format, live performance time, DJ period, audio and lighting, technical support, setup and dismantling, travel and optional extras. Clarify missing information before deciding on the total price alone.
What information helps you prepare a suitable quote?
The date, location, occasion, approximate guest count and desired music times form the basis. Add your preferred line-up, musical preferences, existing equipment and any special arrangements. You can leave unknown details open – simply flag them so we can ask the right follow-up questions.
