The illuminated machinery at Landschaftspark and the large Steinhof stage offer very different settings for a celebration. We have experienced both as a live band. Our contribution starts before the first song: a setup suited to the room and a programme that connects with your guests.
Later, it is about the moment when those first dancers become a shared celebration. We play familiar pop, rock and chart songs, respond to the audience and leave room for spontaneous solos and singing together. Tell us which music suits your guests and what you would prefer not to hear.

Gebläsehallenkomplex: industrial heritage and demanding acoustics
We have played several events at Gebläsehallenkomplex. Historic machinery and atmospheric lighting make it a distinctive venue. In our experience, however, the reverberant room requires careful audio planning. We therefore recommend developing the live music concept and production plan together from the start.
Our experience with audio, staging and the dance floor
This space calls for an engineer experienced in challenging hall acoustics. The venue’s production partner knows the building; any additional engineer from our team should be involved during preparation. We discuss the PA, placement and stage volume that suit the booked space and band, allowing enough time for the soundcheck.
At our previous parties, the setup differed from a conventional concert stage: we used a performance area near floor level, while the dance area sat lower between stairways. Sightlines, access routes and speaker positions need to suit this layout. This describes the arrangement we played in; the complex has several rooms, including a separate theatre with a permanent stage.
That is why we recommend a joint site visit before the main bookings are finalised. It helps establish where the band will perform and which production approach makes sense. The technical contact has supported our preparations very well. Lighting can then be planned around the room, existing architectural illumination and budget.
Short equipment routes and useful backstage rooms
At our performances, deliveries were straightforward: we could roll equipment on the level from the agreed unloading point to the performance area. For those setups, the route was about 20 metres. That makes the work considerably easier; we reconfirm access and unloading times for each event.
We also had good experiences with the clean backstage and support rooms. These practical facilities help the work behind the scenes. The specific rooms and routes available for your celebration still need to be agreed with the venue.
Which room are you booking?
The complex includes a foyer, machinery foyer, pump hall, compressor room and the Gebläsehalle theatre. These can be combined in different ways. We therefore work from your floor plan, seating layout and proposed dance floor, rather than the venue name alone.
Landschaftspark lists a technical partnership requirement with Höhnerbach Veranstaltungstechnik. We therefore explicitly agree any use of our own equipment or engineer with the venue and its partner. We do not assume unrestricted choice of production suppliers.
Steinhof Duisburg: a large stage for your company party
Steinhof is one of the larger NRW venues where we have performed several times. We have thoroughly enjoyed playing company events there. The large stage and tall hall create a setting in which an evening with a live band can feel like your own concert.

Audio and lighting for the tall hall
For the band to fill the space musically, the PA needs suitable headroom and good audience coverage. Simply increasing volume does not replace planning. We match the speakers, their direction and the soundcheck to the hall, dance floor and programme.
We have the equipment to provide our own audio and lighting for the hall. We agree beforehand with the venue what we bring and which existing equipment is used. Steinhof also describes its large hall as an event space with a stage and production facilities. Based on our own experience, we are happy to recommend it for larger company celebrations.

Female vocals, guitar, drums and keyboards with bass played live at the same time by the keyboardist’s left hand. That gives you a full band performance with just four musicians.

A male singer joins the four-piece band. Two lead singers take turns and perform duets, adding variety to your corporate event, wedding or party.

For a party at Landschaftspark, we first establish the exact hall section and performance area. At Steinhof, we discuss stage layout, audience space and production equipment. We also agree delivery windows, available contacts and enough time to set up the band.
Two trained full-time office staff support your preparations with experience from more than 2,000 event plans. After the contract is agreed, we collect musical preferences, no-go songs and the schedule through online questionnaires. We coordinate venue questions with you and manage contracts and invoices digitally.
Two days before the performance, we check the final details together: setup, soundcheck, speeches, meals, live sets and an optional DJ should work together. Our free consultation helps you plan for the practical requirements of your Duisburg venue early.

The agreed equipment package includes the PA, stage lighting, stage equipment, a professional audio engineer, setup and dismantling. The band and DJ are selected separately; room lighting and stage platforms remain optional extras.

Rooms and possible setups at Gebläsehallenkomplex differ substantially. The performance area, stairs, dance floor and speaker positions need to be considered together. An early visit helps establish suitability for your preferred live band before firm commitments are made.
Is Gebläsehalle suitable for a live band?
We enjoy playing there but recommend particularly careful production planning. In our experience, the acoustics are demanding. An engineer who knows the room, a suitable PA plan and enough soundcheck time are essential. The exact room within the complex must also be confirmed.
Can we book your own equipment in Duisburg?
Yes, we can quote for audio and lighting for your event. At Steinhof, we have equipment to cover the hall. At Gebläsehallenkomplex, we respect the venue’s technical partnership requirement and agree our services with the responsible partner.
How long do the band and DJ play at our celebration?
Three live sets of 45 minutes form the standard programme; a fourth set can be added. An optional DJ provides seven hours as standard. We coordinate music and transitions with your schedule so that dinner, speeches and dancing follow each other naturally.
