For a dental industry company, we supported an entire event day: an in-house exhibition with power for the stands and presentations in two adjoining rooms during the day, followed by a large corporate party in the evening. Our team provided projection, speech amplification, headsets and technical support.

We set up the stage, a large truss system and extensive audio and lighting equipment in the morning. After the daytime event, our seven-piece band and DJ took over. A site visit and detailed planning brought the exhibition, talks and party into one coordinated schedule.

The glass roof and glass frontage facing the Rhine made the acoustics demanding. Stage position, speaker placement and experienced audio engineers were crucial for this performance. That is why we discuss the setup early with you and the venue.

We know La Redoute from a range of weddings: vocals and guitar, sometimes with loops, or our four- and five-piece band in the evening. We have also supplied a separate audio and lighting system for the DJ afterwards in the separate party room.

Hard floors, walls and extensive glazing can create strong resonances, particularly in the bass range. For a live band with drums, we therefore want to agree on the band’s position together. This lets us place speakers and stage appropriately for the room and prepare balanced amplification.

The views and distinctive event spaces make Godesburg an impressive wedding venue. We have played here four times, with different line-ups and schedules.

For setup, we allow for the long transport routes and small lift. In our experience, this can mean around one and a half to two hours of additional work, or more when the lift is shared. We therefore discuss the booked room, equipment and delivery window beforehand.

At a gala with around 1,600 seated guests, our six-piece band began with understated dinner music. The DJ took over during dessert, followed by a performance from DJ Ötzi. Immediately afterwards, we played the aftershow party with seven musicians and two 50-minute sets, before our DJ continued into the early hours.

The venue’s technical partner supplied the large audio and lighting system; we brought our own audio engineer. With long distances from the unloading point to the stage, allowing enough transport time and providing trolleys are part of our preparations.

For the Christmas celebration of Esri, the geographic information software company, we played as a six-piece party band in the foyer for more than 1,000 guests. After the meal, danceable American Christmas classics with pop and swing influences opened the evening, made possible by our additionally booked Chameleon concept. Two party sets followed. The venue’s partner provided the event equipment.

On another occasion, a professional female singer performed the national anthem live to an instrumental backing track. Separate musical contributions like this are agreed individually.

Galas, conferences and parties need clear handovers between the band, DJ, guest act and technical crew. We clarify the schedule with everyone involved. We are happy to show you one or two reference videos from the Esri celebration on request.

The guests began with a boat trip, then travelled by bus to the celebration at BaseCamp. We had already lit the hall and caravans with ambient uplighters. Our six-piece party band, additional DJ and extensive audio and lighting equipment turned this unusual setting into a concert evening.

Many guests stayed overnight in the caravans. As the first guests went to bed, the DJ continued the party. The earlier site visit helped us plan lighting, amplification and the band’s position together.

At our performance, the level access made setup straightforward. For your celebration, we coordinate equipment, volume, overnight accommodation and playing times with you and the venue. The vintage camping setting has a character of its own, especially with suitable lighting.
