We do not lock every song into a rigid party schedule. We listen, watch the dance floor and respond live. An optional DJ can keep the music going between our sets and after the band finishes.

A wedding at the castle
We have provided the music for upscale weddings at Schloss Rahe several times. When dinner and dancing take place in different rooms, we plan for both. An acoustic duo or trio for the reception can be booked in addition to the party band.
A corporate event with a concert atmosphere
At DAS LIEBIG, we have played major corporate events with six to eight musicians and a DJ. We coordinate with your organisers and the venue’s technical contacts to move from speeches and dinner into the live party.

Schloss Rahe: an elegant setting with challenging acoustics
We have performed at upscale weddings and corporate celebrations at Schloss Rahe several times: as a four- or five-piece band, with and without a DJ. The castle is a special setting. In our experience, however, live music here needs considerably more acoustic preparation than at many other venues.
Our performances from dinner to dancing
At our events, the main dining rooms were often reserved for the meal, while the party was planned in the atrium with its fountain. An ideal position for the band is not immediately obvious there. The band position, dance floor and guest routes therefore need to be coordinated early.
Having performed there repeatedly with four and five musicians, we know this situation well. Whether it is a wedding or company celebration, with or without a DJ, we plan the musical transitions and PA coverage around the rooms actually being used.
Less extra stage volume, carefully directed PA
We have experienced the smooth, hard floor and wall surfaces as highly reflective. Reverberation makes a clear band mix more difficult. We therefore rely on an experienced audio team, carefully directed front-of-house speakers and as little additional stage sound as possible.
Depending on the setup, this includes acrylic drum shields and in-ear monitoring instead of additional stage wedges. The musicians hear their monitor mix through earpieces, removing the need for extra stage speakers. This helps keep the PA more controlled. The natural sound of acoustic instruments still needs to be considered.
For Schloss Rahe, we strongly recommend booking stage equipment, PA and technical support through us. Our established team knows the venue’s challenges and can prepare the setup, band and soundcheck together. Early production planning is particularly important here.
Several rooms need one coordinated plan
A PA in the party room does not automatically cover the dining rooms. We establish where music and, where needed, speeches should be heard, and plan suitable additional speakers for those areas. We know the cable routes from previous events and confirm the specific room layout for your date.
Overall, we have found access relatively straightforward. This does not mean we assume the entire load-in route is step-free. We check the chosen setup area, access routes and delivery times with the venue.
DAS LIEBIG: a large live band and great teamwork
We find DAS LIEBIG very well suited to live performances. Level access makes setting up easier, and the event spaces provide a fitting setting for an energetic company party. We have already played several large events here.
Our company events with six to eight musicians
At our corporate events at DAS LIEBIG, we performed with six, seven and eight musicians plus a DJ. These evenings offer a great opportunity to combine a large live band with the rest of the party programme. Collaboration with the venue and the production company has worked very well at our shows.
We appreciate the reliable arrangements and the support from the on-site organisers. Our thanks go to the venue and production teams: their collaboration makes a real difference, allowing us to focus on the guests while on stage.
Coordinate audio, lighting and band equipment early
At our previous events, audio and lighting were supplied by the venue’s partner company. By arrangement, we could bring our own band stage equipment and audio engineer. This division of responsibilities has worked well for us.
For your event, we confirm the current arrangements directly with DAS LIEBIG. Connections, required band equipment, responsibilities and DJ integration are agreed together, so that everyone’s technical contribution matches your planned show.

We have played Schloss Rahe with four and five musicians, and DAS LIEBIG with six to eight. These experiences are a useful starting point for your plans. Your music preferences, the room and the intended show determine the right line-up for you.
Quartet. All live.
Female vocals, guitar, drums and keyboards with bass played live at the same time by the keyboardist’s left hand. That gives you a full band performance with just four musicians.
Quintet. Two voices.
A male singer joins the four-piece band. Two lead singers take turns and perform duets, adding variety to your corporate event, wedding or party.
Larger lineup

3 × 45 minutes of live performance form the starting point. A fourth 45-minute set can be booked separately. The standard optional DJ booking covers seven hours, usually including the live sets.

For your Aachen celebration, we start with the room plan: where will guests dine and dance, and where will the band and DJ be placed? At Schloss Rahe, we include additional speakers and cable routes. At DAS LIEBIG, we discuss the technical handover with the production company. Load-in, setup and soundcheck receive dedicated times in the event schedule.
Two trained full-time office staff support you with the arrangements. Experience from more than 2,000 event plans helps us bring together musical preferences and organisational details. After the contract is signed, our online questionnaires collect songs, no-gos and schedule details; contracts and invoices are digital.
Two days before the performance, we confirm the final details with you. These include contacts, room changes, speeches, live sets and the transition to an optional DJ. Travel and any accommodation are calculated to suit the requirements of your date.

At Schloss Rahe, controlled PA coverage across several rooms is crucial. At DAS LIEBIG, we coordinate the band equipment with the relevant production partner. Packages L and XL, shown here from our S to XXL range, illustrate possible setups; the room, acoustics and agreed scope determine which package makes sense.
The agreed equipment package includes the PA, stage lighting, stage equipment, a professional audio engineer, setup and dismantling. The band and DJ are selected separately; room lighting and stage platforms remain optional extras.

Yes, several times at upscale weddings and corporate celebrations. We performed as a four- and five-piece band, with and without a DJ. We therefore know the demanding acoustics and the planning of dining and party areas first-hand.
Why do you recommend your own production team at Schloss Rahe?
In our experience, the hard, smooth surfaces create strong reflections. An audio team familiar with the venue, in-ear monitoring, suitable drum shielding and carefully directed speakers help with the setup. We therefore recommend planning stage equipment, PA and technical support through us.
Do the castle’s dining rooms need their own speakers?
If music or speeches need to be heard there too, we include those rooms separately in the plan. The PA in the party area does not automatically cover them. Room use, additional speakers and cable routes are coordinated with the venue beforehand.
